Helsinki
Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a modern and vibrant city with over half a million residents. Helsinki’s attractive and unique character comes from its proximity to the Baltic Sea, as well as its location between the East and the West. Design, architecture, culture as well as large park areas, forests, lakes, and the coastline with numerous islands invite to enjoy its vibrant yet close-to-nature atmosphere.

Helsinki is a compact city, easily explored by foot or it’s very well-functioning public transportation system.
In 2011, the Monocle magazine ranked Helsinki the most liveable city in the world; Helsinki is one of the world’s cleanest and safest capitals. Also, Finnish design has made the Finland’s capital city world famous; Helsinki was nominated the World Design Capital 2012.
